Eric Dean joined R. Reese & Associates in 2023. His practice consists primarily of counseling clients on the acquisition and divestiture of energy assets, with a focus on title examination and due diligence. He began his career in energy as a landman. He went on to be a founding partner in two energy law firms.

Eric graduated magna cum laude from Austin College with a double major in business and philosophy. He earned his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law where he served as an editor for the Texas Environmental Law Journal. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, California and the District of Columbia. In his free time, he enjoys competing in endurance sports, travelling with his wife, and introducing his kids to the great outdoors.
