Matt Dishong

Matt Dishong was born and raised in southwestern Pennsylvania; he obtained his B. S. degree in Biology from Allegheny College in 2010, where he lettered in baseball all four years as a pitcher for the Allegheny Gators. Matt then proceeded to earn his J. D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 and began his career as an oil and gas attorney working in the Marcellus Shale states.  After more than five years of Marcellus work, he began branching out into the Permian Basin and other western basins. Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Mexico, Matt has experience assisting clients by preparing drilling and division order title opinions, drafting curative documents, and performing due diligence for complex, large-acreage transactions. He has also written legal articles for a number of publications, including the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.
