Cheryl advises clients on matters involving land management, mineral transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and business development. She is also experienced in litigation matters related to oil and gas disputes and negotiating operational agreements ancillary to core business, including equipment leasing, real estate and confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Cheryl was an Associate at a corporate and financial firm and worked in house at a pipeline construction company. She advised on various legal and regulatory matters, including environmental and safety matters, labor and employment matters, state and local licensing throughout the United States, and tax matters. She also advised clients on oil and gas operations processes, data privacy matters, strategic partnerships, fundraising, upstream oil and gas acquisitions and divestitures, general corporate matters, and finance.
Cheryl received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2012, and is a licensed attorney by the State Bar of Texas. It’s amazing to have such a young, fresh and talented new member as part of our team. We are all happy and excited about your inputs and contribution to our company.
