With nearly fifteen years’ experience in upstream oil & gas, Adam Mapes is a multi-faceted professional with significant executive management experience in legal, land, M&A, business development, midstream, and financial and asset evaluation for oil & gas operators.
Most recently, Adam served as the Vice President of Land, Legal & Business Development and Member of the Board of Directors at an upstream private equity portfolio company, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of managing an E&P business. He has worked in nearly every major producing basin in the Lower 48, representing clients from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, and advising on multi-million dollar upstream, midstream, and other commercial activities for exploration and production companies.
Adam received his MBA from the Southern Methodist University in 2013, J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University in 2008 and his B.A. from the University of Texas in 2005.
